Smoker's Lines & Thin Lips
"From the very first time you treated my lips, the results were beautiful. Fabulous!"
Loretta D. • Myersville, MD
The muscles in our mouth are exercised the most out of any other area on the face. Over time, we develop fine or deep wrinkles around our lips. These can develop if you are a smoker, if you drink out of straws or bottles or as you age. Many women are concerned about these lines, as well as the fullness of the lips themselves.
Smoothing Smoker’s Lines, Restoring Lip Fullness, Plumping Naturally Thin Lips—Sylvana’s Approach Is Customized To You
Whether you’ve been genetically dealt a pair of thin lips or they are simply not as plump and smooth as they once were, the good news is that at Sylvana Med Spa in Frederick, MD we can help. During your Complimentary Consultation, we will come up with a personal treatment plan to rejuvenate your mouth—smoothing lip lines and fine wrinkles surrounding your lips and adding fullness to the lips themselves.
You ideal lip treatment will be customized as part of your first-visit Complimentary Consultation. What works best for you may be part of a total facial rejuvenation or it may zero in on one or two specific area such as the tiny vertical lines surrounding lips that appear over time or simply thin lips. After your Complimentary Consultation, we will decide with you what treatment approach will give you exactly the results you desire.
Our Favorite Solutions To Layer For Lip Rejuvenation
In general, we recommend a combination approach to addressing any problem and thin lips, smoker’s lines and lip lines are no exception. The treatment types we layer most often to achieve the natural-looking lips you desire are neuromodulators such as Botox and dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Belotero.
Botox, Dysport And Xeomin—Neuromodulators To Relax The Hard-Working Muscles Around The Mouth
Any time you pucker up for a kiss, sip from a straw or purse your lips while talking, the muscles around your mouth are working overtime. Over time, they create the tiny lines around the lips that are a give-away sign of aging. Used in very small amounts, Botox, Dysport and Xeomin relax those muscles in a natural-looking way which begins the smoothing process around the lip line.
Restylane And Belotaro Touch-Up The Lip Line And Plump Lips For A Natural-Looking Fullness
Dermal fillers—particularly Restylane and Belotero—are the key to a light restorative, natural-looking plumping of the lips themselves and for delicate touch-up around the lip line. Restylane is the only filler FDA-approved for use in lips and Belotero’s consistency—a soft cohesive gel—is ideal for filling extremely fine lines in delicate areas such as tiny wrinkles at the lip line.
