Laser Genesis uses non-invasive laser technology to safely, discretely and effectively treat fine-line wrinkles, large pores, uneven skin texture, diffuse redness and scars.
You can anticipate subtle but consistent results after each treatment, with few side effects such as bruising or excessive skin irritation. Treatments are comfortable and don't require topical anesthetics.
Laser light is targeted at the dermis, which is the deeper layer of the skin, and is where collagen is made. The laser heats the dermis, which causes new collagen production. The collagen production continues for a period of time.
Laser Genesis improves the skin's appearance overall, especially on the face, neck and chest. It also decreases fine wrinkles, restores even skin tones and evens out acne scarring. It is sometimes used with other procedures to minimize the appearance of other scars anywhere on the body. It also decreases diffuse redness and ruddy complexions, including the redness caused by rosacea.
Laser Genesis produces a gentle warming during treatment that lasts for about 30 minutes. Patients frequently say they have a pleasant subtle tingling feeling and a feeling of increased firmness for a day or so after treatment.
You can return to normal activities right away. Use sunscreen and drink plenty of water.
It depends on the problem being treated, but generally ranges from four to six treatments that are spaced three to four weeks apart. Depending on your concern, Sylvana professionals may recommend other treatments in conjunction with Laser Genesis.
Results accumulate with each treatment and benefits continue far beyond your last treatment. The accelerated collagen production peaks at about 12 weeks after your last treatment, but still continues at an increased rate. Since the aging process always continues, it is difficult to say exactly how long results will last, but benefits seem apparent for several years. Protecting your skin from the sun, plus good skin care, is also important to get the maximum results. If you have acne scarring or rosacea, it's important to control the underlying condition in order to avoid further skin disruption.
