VISIA® Complexion Analysis – to Measure Your Skin’s Health & Appearance
The VISIA Complexion Analysis multi-spectral imaging and analysis system is the first step in designing a customized skin care solution for your skin. The VISIA records both standard and UV photography, and measures surface and subsurface skin conditions.
The VISIA captures key information on six areas that affect complexion health and appearance:
- Wrinkles
- UV spots that indicate sun damage
- Spots
- Skin tone variations
- Pore size
- Bacterial content
Additionally, VISIA provides an informative comparison of your complexion's characteristics to those of other women of your same age and skin type.
Once done, the reports are customized for each patient in an easy-to-read format.
Then, selecting from various families of products that have been proven to deliver results, we create a customized plan to correct and repair your skin, and protect it from future damage.
Finally, we measure progress as your skin improves, and may recommend additional products or procedures to maximize your results.
Quick & Pain-free Skin Analysis
The actual VISIA imaging of your surface and subsurface skin features takes only a few minutes and is a comfortable process at all times. Once complete, the review of your results and consultation will typically take from thirty minutes to an hour, focusing on your specific problem areas and comparing your results with others of your same age, sex and skin type. Your analysis will also include your personal treatment recommendations.

Why get a skin analysis?
At Sylvana, we use the results of the analysis as the framework for creating a personalized facial rejuvenation program that is designed to obtain optimal improvement in your skin color and texture. Once your VISIA imaging session is complete, a Sylvana professional will provide you with a detailed complexion report that focuses on specific problem areas and compares your results with others your age.
How long does it take to perform a VISIA Digital Skin Analysis?
We usually schedule 30 minutes for a VISIA Digital Skin Analysis during a one-on-one skin evaluation. During the appointment, your Sylvana professional will examine your complexion and discuss how you’d like to improve your skin. Once your digital skin analysis is completed, we will discuss product and treatment recommendations based on the results.
Will I experience any discomfort during the session?
No. There is no discomfort involved in the VISIA Digital Skin Analysis.
What is the cost of a Digital Skin Analysis?
It is so important to us to fully understand each individual client's skin, we offer the Visia Skin Analysis at no charge. It is the best way for us to provide customized treatments that will get the most optimal results.
